This was the first time for our blogger @sourires_et_papilles to use black rice and she is convinced of its taste after trying it! We are also convinced of her delicious salad bowl that was created as a lockdown recipe.Find out how to make this super easy, tasty and healthy black rice salad – really, it’s a flavour explosion!
INGREDIENTS :
180 g Organico Organic Nerone (black) Rice – Wholegrain
60 g Organico Organic Sun-dried tomatoes
60 g Feta cheese
2 black figsFresh basilOlive oil & balsamic vinegar for the vinaigrette
Salt & pepper
Pine nuts
METHOD:
Cook your black rice as per package instructions. Drain and let it cool down.
Make a vinaigrette with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.Add the vinaigrette to the rice and mix well. Then salt and pepper to taste.
In a dry frying pan, toast the pine nuts for 2 or 3 minutes.
Meanwhile cut the sun-dried tomatoes in half. Also chop the feta cheese, figs and fresh basil. Add these ingredients to the rice.
Sprinkle your rice bowl with toasted pine nuts and enjoy!
