Who’s up for some Italian Fusion? Isn’t that the coolest name you can give to a recipe? On top of its amazing name, this meal is packed with fresh basil and juicy tomatoes, in other words, it’s simply delicious. Ingredients:
30g of dry Wholegrain fusilli pasta
100g firm tofu (optional)
1/2 yellow pepper
1/2 Onion
1 carrot
1 tbsp olive oil
Organico fresh pasta sauce
A few chopped basil leaves
A pinch of Salt & Pepper
A handful of Spinach and rocket
Method:
Chop the pepper, carrot and onion into small piecesGrab a medium frying pan and add the olive oil.
Once the oil has heated for a minute, add the pepper, carrot and onion. Stir every so often.
Chop up the tofu into medium pieces and add to the frying pan.Add the Organico cooking sauce.Add the chopped basil leaves, salt and pepper.
Bring to simmer for 5-10mins until soft.
Whilst cooking the other ingredients, bring approx 200ml water to the boil. Put the pasta into a sauce pan and add the water. Cook for about 5-7 minutes (or until slightly soft).
Drain the cooked pasta, and then put into a medium sized bowl.Add the frying pan ingredients, wait to cool and enjoy!
